Outdoor Pet Activities

So the sun has finally come out here in Seattle and it’s supposed to be a nice weekend! With spring finally in full swing in most parts of the country, there are plenty of outdoor activities you can partake in with your pet! Hopefully the weather will be nice out where you are located as well, so why not head on out and have some fun in the sun with your pet!

Here are a few great activities that you and your pet can partake in:

  • Find a trail and go for a hike
  • Organize a dog play date
  • Visit an outdoor pet friendly café or restaurant
  • Play fetch or Frisbee at a dog park
  • Go on a walk or run with your dog
  • Contrary to popular belief, you and your cat can have some outdoor fun as well!  If you have a high fence or already have an outdoor cat, grab some cat toys and play with your cat outside. Some cats might even go on a walk if you decide you want to put them on a leash.

To find a dog park near you, check out the park locater at this pet service directory. Embrace the nice spring weather and enjoy some outdoor fun with your pet this weekend!
