You buy insurance for your car, why not for your pet?

Pet insurance can be compared to car insurance.  You get it to prepare yourself financially for any possible accidents in the future.

Car insurance: Covers the costs of any future accidents.
Pet insurance: Covers the costs of any future accidents or illnesses.

Car insurance: Won’t cover the costs if you’re trying to sign up with a totaled car.
Pet insurance: Won’t cover the costs of a condition that has been diagnosed before you sign up.

Car insurance: Gives you peace of mind that your car will keep getting you from A to B.
Pet insurance: Gives you peace of mind that your pet can live a healthy life.

However, unlike car insurance, pet insurance is a lot less expensive!

Pet insurance is also much more meaningful. Unlike your car, your pet loves you back. Your pet is happy to see you, wants to spend time with you, and wants to cuddle with you. Your pet provides comfort and support when you’re feeling sad, and a wagging tail when he notices that you’re happy. Your pet will provide an ear to listen and will get up and play at the drop of a hat.

Plus, I’m assuming that it would be much more heartbreaking to see your pet get hit by a car than to see your car get hit by a car.

When you think about it– you get much more out of pet insurance than car insurance, so think about providing a little peace of mind for yourself and a healthy future for your pet.
