Wow! I’m totally stunned. Everyone has such wonderful stories, and I’m glad to see that so many people have been touched by adopted pets.

Thank you so much for choosing Zoye’s story. I’ll have to tell her mom and MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue, who rescued her in the first place. They’ll be thrilled!

This award money will help me to continue my animal advocacy efforts. On behalf of the Up For Pups board, I’d like to give everyone at Trupanion a giant WOOF!

I haven’t had a chance to read all of the winners’ blog posts yet, but the Up for Pups one is absolutely fabulous! What a great story with such a strong moral to be shared. Thank you to the writers and to Trupanion for finding and sharing these posts!

I just finished reading the other two posts, and they’re wonderful, too! Romey’s rescue “tail” reminds me of my sweetie’s struggles to learn to love my dog and how one wonderful moment between them somehow changed everything. Now my sweetheart loves our Bella as unconditionally as she’s always loved him–even when he wouldn’t give her the time of day. I don’t know what finally did it for him, but I’m so glad that moment came! A puppy’s love is unparalleled; not only is it unconditional, it also fills you up with an indefinable warmth that makes your heart feel like it could burst. I don’t know how I lived without dogs in my life before I got Bella! I’m so glad that, like Romey’s “dad”, my sweetie now understands the joy of loving, and being loved by, a dog.
