Pet Insurance Review – first experience with Trupanion Canada

10/10  first experience with Trupanion Canada
I have owned several dogs over the years and my 9 year old doberman has cost me a fortune (I swear I could have put a child through university by now!). I adopted a rescue chihuahua last year, and after much research and deliberation I decided to get pet insurance for her; I recently added my second adopted rescue dog to my policy. Most of my family and friends were skeptical – so I must share my 1st Trupanion claim experience. Just before Christmas I noticed a lump on my chihuahua; the vet was quite concerned and the lump was removed via costly surgery. My vet submitted the claim form to Trupanion and within 2 weeks I recevied notice that the claim was processed. I am very impressed and quite relieved to have pet insurance for my chihuahua. My doberman was just diagnosed with cardiomyopathy ($1700) and another vet bill was overwhelming! Unfortunately, it’s too late to sign him up now :-( But, if I knew then, what I know now… I highly recommend pet insurance from Trupanion; this 1st experience has been excellent. I will never be without pet insurance again – owning a pet is so expensive nowadays.

I find it odd that you are endorsing a pet insurance company that in turns speaks about you and your lifestyle, leaves one to wonder about the objectivity of said “review”. Thanks but no-thanks, I would have appreciated a more objective review.
