Pet Insurance Claim of the Week: Pneumonia

Colby is a 6-year-old Siberian Husky that has been having troubles with persistent pneumonia. Pneumonia is an inflammation of the lungs and is often caused by a bacterial infection. Symptoms include coughing, wheezing, lethargy, loss of appetite, and fever.

Colby had to make a trip to the emergency veterinarian where he received radiographs and fluids. The following day, he needed various medications and anesthesia so that the veterinarian could perform an endoscopy.
