Trupanion Pet Insurance Now Available in Rhode Island and New Mexico

Dog and cat owners in Rhode Island and New Mexico now have a new option when it comes to pet insurance.

(PR.com) April 25, 2011 — Trupanion, the nation’s fastest-growing pet insurance company today announced an expansion into Rhode Island and New Mexico effective immediately. Residents of these two states can now enroll their cats and dogs online or by phone at 800.569.7913.

“As we expand into new states, we are able to meet the needs of more pet owners looking for health coverage for dogs and cats at a reasonable cost,” said Darryl Rawlings, Chief Executive Officer at Trupanion. “We feel we offer a unique product that hasn’t been available to these pet owners in the past and we look forward to adding them to our family.”

Pet insurance covers the cost of unexpected accidents and illnesses for which pet owners are unprepared. Trupanion operates under a core set of values that drive a policy offering lifetime coverage for dogs and cats with a 90 percent reimbursement rate and no payout limits per claim, per year, or ever.

A wealth of information on pet health issues, and specifics on dog and cat breeds can also be found on the site, giving pet owners the opportunity to be as educated about their pet as possible.
