Pet Insurance Claim of the Week: Cancer

This week’s featured pet insurance claim is for a 10-year-old Italian Greyhound named Sofia who unfortunately has transitional cell carcinoma. TCC is a type of cancer that occurs in the urinary system. Sofia began experiencing symptoms of difficulty urinating and blood in her urine.

She was diagnosed with TCC in February and has been making many visits to the veterinarian and receiving chemotherapy since her diagnosis. This recent claim is for laser surgical treatment, endoscopy, fluids and various medications, diagnostics, and monitoring.
