Pet Insurance Testimonial – Emma

Our personal health insurance company could learn a few things from Trupanion.  Our claims were handled in a timely, courteous and professional manner.  Within a week of our submission – we had a check in our hands.  EXEMPLARY!!!!!

-Alan F.

Emma has had claims for pelvic limb lameness, orthopedic pain, and gastrointestinal upset.

You must be one of the lucky ones. We have been waiting almost 3 weeks for our pets resolution. We understand the request for records which has been a delay but Trupanion also wanted our pets information where he was Neutered before completing the claim. What does that have to do with a Ear Infection?

      Hi Frank,
I understand your frustration in filing your first claim. When a claim is filed, we do collect all medical records so that we have a full picture of your pet’s medical history. Once we have the records, it makes claim processing simple and quick. Any future claims that you should file would be processed much more quickly, usually in less than a week.
Now, I see that the date of this invoice was marked about 12 days ago, but is there another invoice that was sent in three weeks ago? Please let me know so that we can ensure that nothing gets missed.
