Nui Nui the Pomeranian is not the luckiest of dogs. She recently was in the wrong place at the wrong time, getting tangled up in her owner’s feet and resulting in a broken leg. Nui Nui went to the veterinarian to receive treatment for her right front leg which had a fracture to the radius and ulna.
Nui Nui received X-rays and was then taken into surgery. We are hoping that everything is going to be just fine.
It is not uncommon for small dogs to experience broken bones because their bones are so tiny and fragile. When I was living with my parents, we had a young Toy Fox Terrier puppy experience the same thing when she was running around the corner and accidentally collided with my mom’s shoe.
