Pet Insurance Claim of the Week: Foreign Body Ingestion

There once was a young Shih Tzu named Liu Liu who was about a year old. Curious as she may be, she found an unusual looking object on the floor and decided to check it out. It was small and chewy and interesting so she gobbled it right up!

Next thing she knew, Liu Liu was at the veterinarian’s office receiving radiographs to determine what was wrong with her tummy. Liu Liu received general anesthesia for her endoscopy. The veterinarian removed the culprit: an ear plug. Liu Liu should be doing just fine now!
