Camerata is an 11-year-old Chocolate Labrador Retriever has been experiencing complications with her stomach. She has been spending a lot of time (9 days!) at the veterinary clinic this December.

Camerata was an unfortunate victim of bloat, a life-threatening condition to which larger dogs are susceptible. She experienced an injury to her stomach which resulted in septic abdomen which is when bacteria leaks out and into other parts of the body. During her stomach surgery, Camerata also had a splenectomy.
