Behind the Scenes: Western Veterinary Conference

I mentioned that many of us at Trupanion would be attending the Western Veterinary Conference in Las Vegas. We had a fantastic time and were able to meet so many of our colleagues in the field of animal health. We spoke to veterinarians, product representatives, reporters, and not-for-profit ambassadors, among others, and were happy to hear some amazing stories of love and survival from pet owners.

We were lucky to be paired with great neighbors at our booth, too. There is nothing better than a 180-pound fluffy puppy to provide a quick break in your day. They were helping to promote The Comfy Cone and really stole the show.

We also met with a pet owner who had recently enrolled his Puggle puppy with Trupanion as a therapy dog. This little Puggle, named Precious, really lived up to her name. She was absolutely adorable and her owner, John, told us of all the joy she will soon be bringing to nursing homes and hospitals as a certified therapy dog.

We filmed John and Precious as he told their story and even took them out to the famous Las Vegas Strip for some fun footage. A star was truly born.

It was a wonderful trip and we already look forward to next year!
