I’ve always been told I have a high-maintenance dog. Most of that comes from her health, since she has had health problems for years, requiring daily medication, a special diet, and a variety of food and play restrictions. She is also pretty needy and quite the diva. But I love her to pieces and would do what I do and more to make her happy and healthy.
Yahoo Shine recently put together a list of the top 10 high maintenance dog breeds. My dog’s breed (Italian Greyhound) didn’t make the list but I thought it would be fun to share with you the breeds that did – and then you can let me know if you agree. These breeds were based on energy level, grooming requirements, and attention span. These breeds were not ranked in order of maintenance, just in alphabetical order.
