Shelter Cats Create iPad Artwork

A recent article on Yahoo! Shine describes one very unique way that a shelter is raising money. SpcaLA’s Companion Animal Village & Education Center was recently visited by Animal Planet’s film crews to be featured in their “Must Love Cats” television series.

The episode, which aired on April 14th, features shelter cats playing with iPads using an app called Paint for Cats. Using just their paws and an iPad, the cats created some incredible works of art. The paintings are called “Movement in Catnip” and “Study in Feather Toys”.

The fancy feline-created artwork is now being sold online in notecard prints for $3.99 for a pack of 10 cards. The proceeds will benefit both dogs and cats at spcaLA. Now is your chance to own some original cat art while donating to a good cause at the same time!

Do you think your cat or dog has artistic talent?
