Pet Food Recall: AvoDerm Dog Food

According to an L.A. Biz post dated September 11, 2012, Breeder’s Choice Pet Food announced a voluntary recall for possible salmonella contamination.

Pet foods recalled include the 26-pound AvoDerm Natural Lamb Meal and Brown Rice Adult Dog Formula manufactured with Best Before dates of August 28, 2013, August 29, 2013 and August 30, 2013.

The recall affects the following states: California, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, Virginia, and Washington.

If you have an affected bag of food, it is important to immediately stop feeding and handling the dog food.
