As you probably know by know, Trupanion was a sponsor of this year’s American Humane Association Hero Dog Awards. This event celebrates the hero dogs in all of our lives and gives special recognition to eight hero dogs that truly went above and beyond for their guardian, their families and their country.
This is the second year for this event, and last year’s inaugural event was no less special. Eight extraordinary hero dogs were featured and celebrated. Each dog has such an amazing story to tell.
Sadly, we had to say goodbye to one of these hero dogs last week. Stacey Mae was the hero dog representing the Therapy Dog category. This special girl made her mark by visiting those in need of a little something special. She was the highlight of many people’s lives and she will be sorely missed.
Check out the video below to learn more about sweet Stacey Mae. Rest in peace, sweet girl.
