How to: Give Your Puppy CPR

Pet emergencies are a terrifying reality. One does not ever want to take a moment to stop and think about what can happen to their beloved companion, but it is of the utmost importance to actually take some time out of your life to get prepared for an emergency situation. There are many differences between performing CPR on an animal, especially of a smaller one like a young puppy, than for a human, thus one must learn the act of CPR for a dog even if they are familiar with doing the act on a human.

This is also a very useful skill when puppies are being born. On some sad situations, these animals are born without being able to breathe on their own and must have help so that they can grow up big and strong. Keep in mind their small lungs before beginning.
