We are very proud to share that Darryl Rawlings, Trupanion’s founder and CEO, has been named a finalist in the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year contest!
Darryl was chosen as a finalist after a series of interviews by Ernst & Young representatives, where he was able to share his passion for pets and pet insurance, as well as the challenges and successes he saw while building his business.
Darryl is the only finalist representing a pet-related industry, so has a unique advantage in the competition. With a strong entrepreneurial spirit (did you know Darryl founded a high-end cigar company before following his passion into pet insurance?), an incredible drive to make his business the best it can possibly be, a style and personality that stands out in a crowd of grey-suited executives, and the unparalleled support of his Trupanion people, this award has his name all over it!
Winners will be announced June 7. To see all the finalists, visit the Puget Sound Business Journal here.
