Pet Insurance Claim of the Week: Dog swallowed fish hook
|Bodhi the Alaskan Malamute puppy is still in the process of learning how to be a “grown-up.” Unfortunately, he learned the hard way not to eat a fish hook. Bodhi was taken to the emergency animal hospital where he stayed for three days to receive treatment and recover.
Veterinarians used anesthesia and conducted an endoscopy to locate and remove the object. Bodhi was hospitalized and monitored for the next two days to ensure a smooth recovery.
We hope that Bodhi is on the mend and doesn’t have any more fish hooks in his future!
