‘Tis the Season of Giving
‘Tis the season of giving, of love, and of cheer—and as pet owners, we know our pets give us all of these things no matter what time of year. We see it in the way they greet us at the door, hear it in the purr as they curl up in our laps, and sense it in the unbreakable bonds we have with our best friends.
That’s why here at Trupanion, we believe in giving every pet and their owners the best—and we know you do too.
While you’re gathered with family and friends (two-legged and four) we’d like to ask you to share your Trupanion experience. Tell them what your pet gives you, and tell them about the peace of mind that comes with knowing you and your pet are covered. Every time you refer a friend who enrolls in a Trupanion policy this November and December, we’ll pay it forward with a $10 donation to The Farley Foundation or Best Friends Animal Society.
Helping Pets in Need
A little word of mouth can go a long way in supporting these wonderful organizations.
- For U.S. residents, the donation will go to Best Friend’s Animal Society
Best Friends Animal Society is the only national animal welfare organization dedicated exclusively to ending the killing of dogs and cats in America’s shelters. A leader in the no-kill movement, Best Friends runs the nation’s largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals, adoption centers and spay and neuter facilities in Los Angeles and Salt Lake City as well as lifesaving programs in partnership with more than 1,300 rescue groups and shelters across the country. Since its founding in 1984, Best Friends has helped reduce the number of animals killed in American shelters from 17 million per year to an estimated 4 million. By continuing to build effective initiatives that reduce the number of animals entering shelters and increase the number who find homes, Best Friends and its nationwide network of members and partners are working to Save Them All®.
- For Canada residents, the donation will go to The Farley Foundation
Established by the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA) in 2001, the Farley Foundation assists seniors and disabled persons on limited incomes with the necessary treatment of their pets. In 2007, the Foundation expanded its criteria to assist the pets of women at risk of abuse and their children who are participating in OVMA’s SafePet Program. The Farley Foundation honors the human-animal bond and seeks to help those who most benefit from pet ownership.
