In this installment of Working at Trupanion series, we sit down with Trupanion customer service specialist, Latonya Jones to learn more about what it’s like to help cats and dogs remotely at Trupanion.

What is your role at Trupanion?
Member experience specialist.
When did you start?
I started my role in October 2016.
What does an average remote day look like?
An average remote workday consists of me providing a great customer experience to our members while in my pajamas for half the day. Also, I have some fun co-workers. For example, my pups are either playing or sleeping in the background.
What do you love most about working remotely at Trupanion?
No commute! The traffic is awful and I don’t even have to wear shoes.
What do you love most about your role?
I love being able to help pets and members every day. I enjoy spreading my knowledge to ensure they understand their wonderful investment.
What is the favorite part of your day?
Lunchtime, so I can walk and play with my dogs.
What inspires the work that you do?
I just want to see the pets we all love to receive the best veterinary care that they need.
What do you value most about your role?
Having a supportive team that makes sure I am successful in my role.
